COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a classic Czech "tmave" (dark) beer with a sweet malty, coffee-like accent. Sweet malts are to the fore on the palate with a hint of drying sensation and a degree of fruitiness on the very lightly hopped finish.

EdInSaltLake (727) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Sweet, brown sugar/molasses aroma and flavor. Can also smell some leafy, herbal aroma or something. Toasty brown malt flavor, and herbal flavor. Another unique flavor and aroma; closest thing I can think of to describe it is "hair salon perm"--but that’s not quite right.

Sledutah (7761) - Utah, USA - MAY 29, 2013
500ml bottle picked up at the state store
Pours dark brown with a small beige head and spotty lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, toffee and coffee. Flavors of roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate with a dry finish
Nice, tasty and easy drinking.

16.9oz bottle 8/11/12 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-44° in Mug-Pours dark brown almost black with a small head that dissipated into nothing. Aroma of malts, toffee, coffee, and slight smoke. Taste of the same with a bit of chocolate on the back end. I was expecting worse from this light bodied brew but it was not too shabby.

3.4
reebtogi (6330) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 12, 2012
500ml bottle pours a deep amber color with a 2 finger off-white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light roasted malts with hints of coffee. Taste is malty sweet with a roasted malt bitterness and light hop bitterness that is dry. Medium body and nice carbonation leave a pleasing sensation on the palate. This is a very well done beer and highly recommended.

Bottle pours dark brown/black with an amber hue and a large tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt, roast, and molasses. Taste similar to aroma with some faint coffee. Kind of bland really, drinkable though.
