Can. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, water, and hay, leading to a dry finish.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2017 Larnaka 11/7 2017. 50 cl can from Habang Store. If you look at the can saying "Echtes Lagerbier" and the name of this beer you think this is just another obscure German beer. But it seems to be produced by Photos a subsidiary of Carlsberg just South of Nicosia in Central Cyprus. Pours clear yellow with very big bubbly white head. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of persistent foam. Aroma has sweet malts, grains and some distinct sour quality lurking in the background. Low carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by more pronounced sour bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Not too bad for a cheap beer but the fact it’s flat and thin disturbs the picture quite a lot.

500ml can. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pale malt, grain, cardboard. Taste is malt, hay, grain. Funny how the can says "made in the EU", a couple of years ago I didn't buy this one because I thought it was just another German beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Carrefour, Larnaka, Cyprus 🇨🇾. Smooth neutral grainy beginning. Not too deep, grainy with not much bitterness. Plain metallic in the aftertaste, not too sweetish, sessionable!

@ Sandy Bay, Cypern. Burk köpt i lokalt Minimarket (€ 1.29). Möjligtvis lite hö och malt i doften. Metallisk smak, väldigt tunn. Det enda positiva är att den har en hyfsad besk eftersmak.
