Just slightly better than mainstream beers, but a poor effort on a belgian ale.

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 10, 2017
Bottled (backlog). Copper colour with a mediumsized white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, some alcohol, mild banana, spices, mild yeast too. Flavour is caramel malts, mild ripe fruits, some yeast ,spices and mild floral notes. Also some mild sugary notes.

Desverger (12500) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2016
Bottle thanks to Jens, shared at home with the Mrs - Amber coloured pour with off white head. Sweet malty with notes of caramel, aniseed, liquorice, some cinnamon and other Jul spices, standard jule fayre, not doing much for me this.

Clear dark amber, unstable white head. Caramel and malt aroma. Caramel and christmas spice flavour. Hints of yeast and dried fruit in a bitter finish. Nothing special.

DraftDodger (1655) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 8, 2015
Copenhagen 8/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. The usual white Krenkerup label with some snowflakes to provide the Christmas feeling. Pours clear reddish brown with white head. Settles as flimsy layer of foam. Aroma of sweet Christmas spices, sweet banana and a touch of turpentine. Medium carbonation and oily palate. Taste is well balanced between Christmas sweetness with cinnamon, dades and some banana and medium bitterness. Quite fine Christmas entertainment.

Milter (990) - Nyborg, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2015
Ikke nogen stor juleøl. Kedelig og ordinær. Savner mere krydderi og smag af jul.

TorbenJensen (1545) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2015
It has fixed persistent foam and an aroma that certainly belongs to Christmas. Clear aroma of cloves with a little touch of cinnamon. The taste is rich and spicy and tastes a bit of gingerbread. Anise felt towards the end and a moderate hoppy bitterness lasts long on the finish. Maybe a little too heavy in length, but really excellent.

BBHansen (962) - Køge, DENMARK - APR 9, 2015
Bottle @ friends. Appearance: pours clear amber/copper with good soapy white head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, banana hints and floral notes. palette: medium carbonation, medium body, notable grain sweetness, low to average bitterness, medium duration and a watery texture. Overall: average sweet ale

DennisKirk (265) - DENMARK - APR 11, 2014

Moderat bitterhed. Fin øl uden det helt store spræl.
