Frederiksberg 22/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from my sisters fridge. Black label with a shield to underline that this comes from a castle. Pours clear yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is of sweet malts and a bit grainy. Sour undertones. A little alcohol. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor of sweet malts followed by light bitterness. A little metallic in the aftertaste. Not a very inspiring semi-strong beer. jlhl (9) - - MAY 14, 2016 does not count
Smagen er dansk og fyldig med sublim afstemt balance mellem maltens sødme og humlens bitterhed. En øl med en voksen styrke, skabt til de gyldne øjeblikke og de gode lokale frokostborde. TorbenJensen (1602) - Valby, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2015
Krenkerup Gold is a nice helles with nice moderate foam. The aroma is slightly malty flavor and offers a little white bread and quite a nice hoppy bitterness. Brewmaster at Krenkerup is German, and my first impression of this gold was also the particular relied most by the pure taste of malt and supportive / non intrusive hop profile as usually found in German beer. The balance between malt and hops is perfect, and the beer is easy to drink, tasteful and a good little experience. TEJA (3444) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2014
Bottle from the bordershop in Puttgarden. Huge lastning beige head. Still and solid golden color. Herbal / woody hop aroma. Dull malty taste with a balanced bitterness complimented by a medium bitterness. No residual sweetness.
