Bottle 500ml. @ ChrisO Snow Tasting.
Light unclear medium amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dusty malt, light nutty. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, nutty - earthy, chocolate note. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. It pours a hazy, dark golden body and a two-finger, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a distinct touch of cooked vegetables, with some pine cones and caramel. Medium body, softly carbonated. The flavor is more on the fruity side, with caramel maltyness notes and some notes of orange and bitterness. An ordinary beer, but sure drinkable, even though I can’t see myself drinking it again. 130430 Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 30, 2013

Dry woody aroma. Some sweetness to that wood - a bit aged. Alas a bit farty in places. Quite English in style. Better than a typical Amber Ale, a style I dislike as they’re normally too sweet; but this is more highly attenuated. Easy and drinkable.
Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty bitter spicy caramel flavor. has a fruity malty spicy bitter hoppy caramel finish. Theydon_Bois (19506) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 23, 2013

Ok/average fayre. Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Pours clearish amber with a fine, white cream head. Dry, semi-dark malt nose. Light to medium sweet flavour with dusty malts, faint citrus rind and leaves. Light bodied with average carbonation. Bland finish, some dry bready malts, leafy bitterness. OK stuff I guess, but it’s rather unexciting.
