Draft @ Friedel-keller @ Kreutzberg. In krug is dark coppery gold, a nice color. Aroma is rich, with dark, dry smoky wood. Flavors are richly toasty, malty but burnt, woodsy, sweet. No funk at all. Bottle (from the Landbierparadies, Nürnberg): Reddish-amber coloured, hazy, medium sized fluffy but stable off-white head; malty nose with a tinge of honey and a distinctive floral hoppy aroma; moderate aromatic bitter flavour, some traces of caramel and honey, medium bodied; lingering aromatic bitter finish with a tinge of yeast in the aftertaste. Swing-top bottle (Labelled as Brauhaus am Kreuzberg Zwickelbier). Sweet caramel malt and grassy hops aroma. Clear amber color with giant head. Tap at the Fränkische Biertage. Orange clouds, off-white head. Salty, bitter, fruity malt, lovely hop balance. Chewy body, light sparkly. Very moreish.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2015 Draught @ Friedel Keller, Kreuzberg. Ceramig mug. Creamy head and lacings. Fresh hoppy nose and flavor. Very grassy, crisp, clean and delicious. Hoppy end. Re-Rate July -15. Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Reddish-amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of red fruit, caramel and a touch of spice. Flavour of sweet malt, with cinnamon and red berries, followed by a long bitter finish. Very good.
