Enigszins zoet smakend blond bier met kleine schuimkraag. Met ascorbinezuur. Licht alcoholisch.

From a corked bottle...strong carbonation sent the cork flying!! Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of amber malts, powder sugar, vanilla. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of a slightly alcoholic cream soda with a touch of extra minerals, candy sugar, happy Belgian yeast! Overall rich, flavorful, rather sweet but decent.

Bottle courtesy of my fridge. It’s clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, light malts, toffee and fruits. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

750 ml bottle Pours golden with a long lasting, foamy white head. Aroma is of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is grassy hops, candy sugar and bready malt. Finish is long, slightly hoppy and spicy. This brew reminds me of industrial lager.

(Kristoffel Blonde) Bottle 330 ml from local Aldi, served into a big tulip, ABV 6% Copper orange colour on the body, crystal clearm with one finger of white thick head on top, good retention. Aroma of malts, sugars, light alcohol, peach, apricot. Taste is sweet and follows the aroma, quite malty, sime rest sugars in there, peach and apricot, iron on the finish. Medium thin body, carbonation on the high side. Decent blond.

Bottle. Aroma of yeast, some floral notes, and some rust. Orangeish-brown. Mild honeyish sweetness; mid palate is much the same; final is mildly sweet and continues the yeast. Medium body. Okay, but a bit bland. Not much complexity. Drinkable.

Bottle 0.75L. Slightly hazy golden body with a large, creamy, white head, mainly lasting with some lacing. Moderate yeasty (sweat) aroma with some fuity notes (apricot) and some hoppy (flowers) character; a spicy character is also detectable. Moderate sweet flavour with a light acidic character; some bitterness in the aftertaste. Light-to-medium body with an oily texture; soft carbonation.

Dark golden pour, like Pilsener almost, small foam head. A: Pilsener malts, some grass notes, faint hint of lemon, general fruity yeast aroma. T: starts a bit boozy with a marsipan-like taste, faint hint of metal. Develops towards a floral bitterness with grass notes, also some vanilla. Medium body. Aftertaste is again a bit boozy, with a harsher bitterness, also a bit peppery. Had better, had worse. The only thing that I am wondering about: why did they add (chemically produced) Vitamin C (additive E300)?

vipinvelp (4430) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 27, 2015
Clear yellow, white short lasting foam head. Quite a bit of carbonation. Typical barley aroma and taste, nothing special, nothing bad either. (Velp 201506)
