satanda (439) - CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 28, 2012
Co platilo o desítce, to platí o dvanáctce. Nuda nuda, šeď šeď. Navíc kapánek medová příchuť. Točené ve Frýdlantu.

Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - APR 4, 2012
Bottle thanks to Svans Hærge. Hazy orange with a medium dense white head. Aroma of fresh leaves, nectar and a little sour mold. Flavor is quite sour, citrus and sour herbs with fresh grassy leavy bitterness and a minor honey sweetness. Might be a bit off

petexner (935) - CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 24, 2010
Medved is hoppy dry pilsener with abmer clear color and nice white head. Pleasant, almost ale-ish palate gives it nice finish. Well done beer and from now one of my favourite czech pilseners.

gunnar (9094) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 12, 2009
On tap at the brewpub.Pours golden with a generous off-white head. Malty aroma, taste is malty and some grassy hops, moderate bitter.

stouby (4666) - Holbæk, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2009
Draught at the brewery. Yellow with a white head. Aroma moderate malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, almost flat.

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 31, 2008
(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, cream-coloured foamy head. Sweet and slightly sugary, subtle fruity and bready nose with a discreet woody hoppy touch. Well-rounded bready, cara-malty sweetness with an aromatic herbal and woody hoppy bitterness; smooth and well-matured mouthfeel; quite dry malt-accented finish with a balanced hoppy touch (12.08.08).

pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 13, 2008
Bottle: Deep golden, big, quite stable white head with a nice lace; deep pale malty, almost a bit caramelly nose with a shy hoppy background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, soft MF, light to medium bodied; soft, moderate aromatic bitter and malty finish. Good, well crafted stuff..........

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 5, 2007
bottle. Hazy amber-golden colour, no head at all. Pleasant aroma of honey and cinnamon. Nearly no carbonation detectable. Malty flavour with hints of honey, slightly hoppy, with a fruity sourness.

MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 7, 2005
On tap at Zamecka Konirna in Vrchlabi:

The Lure:
Honey sweetness, raw grain and a little mint battle off the minerals. Peppery citrus fruit babble underneath, but without much consequence.

The Festivities:
Agreeable, slick honeyed malt sweetness is prevalent here, but all remains watery and too easy for my tastes. Very low on the hops, and somewhat boring compared to the kvasnicovy version. A little fizzy in the end, with citrusy tartness, this is a disappointing pils for a Czech brewpub.

A painting stripped down of some of its best attributes.

eczematic (1325) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2003
somehow ended up with identical numbers to motelpogo before i looked at his. really good stuff. honeyish, soft sweet malty body + a prickly, spicy and very bitter saazy finish. woah yeah. just good drinkin.
