Honey sweetness, raw grain and a little mint battle off the minerals. Peppery citrus fruit babble underneath, but without much consequence.
Agreeable, slick honeyed malt sweetness is prevalent here, but all remains watery and too easy for my tastes. Very low on the hops, and somewhat boring compared to the kvasnicovy version. A little fizzy in the end, with citrusy tartness, this is a disappointing pils for a Czech brewpub.
A painting stripped down of some of its best attributes.
bottle. Hazy amber-golden colour, no head at all. Pleasant aroma of honey and cinnamon. Nearly no carbonation detectable. Malty flavour with hints of honey, slightly hoppy, with a fruity sourness. gunnar (9466) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 12, 2009
