Bottle at room temperature. Black. Roasted chestnut aroma. Medium body, oily with soft to flat carbonation. Drinkable, but far from enjoyable.

Pours a clear dark brown and thick white head. The aroma is like tin. Very much a metal smell. However the taste is pretty good. Tastes strong at first and finishes really smooth. This beer was a lot better than I thought it would be. It’s a little malty in the beginning and finishes so smooth. Decent beer.

Appearance: Clear dark brown with ruby highlights, 2 finger thick ivory/tan head. Aroma: Herby, grassy, biscuit/bread, corn and slightly nutty. Taste: Low/medium sweetness, low bitter and sourness. Palate: Thick grainy texture, light body, average/prickly carbonation, dry lingering malty, corn finish. Comments: Ok, tasty enough and glass lace.

Vörösesbarna szín, világosbarna közepes hab. Édeskés, melaszos, aszaltszilvás illat. Közepesen szénsavas, közepesen testes. Íze enyhén édes, benne pörkölt maláta , kevés gyümölcsös fanyarsággal. Utóíze gyengén komlós, édes.

500ml bottle at home. Pours dark brown, minimal tan head. Faint aromas of sugar and generic maltiness. More dark sugar on the taste, light herbal bitterness. Medium body, clean finish. OK.

Taste was good in first but later it was wetty. Appearance is good and I can easily give my recommendation for this.

500 ml bottle bought at TASTE in Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong.

Clear opaque Cola black colour; Half finger head and off white foam which last for 1 minute; Good sticky lacing and active carbonation; Aroma of fairly light roasted malt, with light toffee, sugar, light caramel, light chocolate, thin cream, black coffee and hay; Light sweet taste of roasted malt, with light wet cardboard, unsweetened Cola, light black coffee, faint nuts, hint of citrus, liquorices and hay; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is blackish near-water, with related Schwarz tastes like chocolate, toffee, etc are near zero. Even its Coke taste nothing like Diet nor Zero, just completely unsweetened and void. WTF... Hoppiness is hay in nose, thin lemon and straw in taste. Liquorices gives noticeable low bitterness for low-fi finish; Wet after taste, very easy and slightly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is essentially a Milwaukee’s Best Premium disguised in black - desperately low in aroma, body and palate nearly identical to water, and close to tasteless bar hop extract. Drain pours after half a glass. Avoid!
