Demens (519) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 10, 2017
0,33l bottle. Clear dark brown colour with a long lasting off-white head. Aroma: Strong malt drink aromas with caramel, sugar syrup caracter and light roasted coffee beans. A bit artifically sweet but okey. Taste: Full rich malty lightly sweet start with a pleasent bitter mouthfeel. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Medium lasting bitter/sweet finish.

Rune (13781) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 9, 2017
400ml, 4.7 % abv, on tap at Gullkorn Ølbar, Hamar. Off-white head to a deep black body. Clingy lacing. Roasted aroma of dark bread. Taste of dark bread, dough and dark chocolate followed by a roasted malty finish. Medium bodied. Likable (03.03.2017).

3.9
Kleg (448) - The Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2017
Germany. Clear black pour with dark ruby highlights and a large beige head and very good retention. Good lacing. Clean and smooth dark roasted malt lager. Medium body. Simple, easy drinking and good.

midovark (1143) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 1, 2017
Bottled. Pours black with thin head. Coffee, roasted malts and some chocolate appear in aroma and taste, but altogether it’s quite thin and watery. If they weren’t this short on components it could’ve been better.

3.4
Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - FEB 19, 2017
Bottle. Semi hazy. Some ruby highlights, brown otherwise. Small bubbles, cream colored head. Light aroma. Grain, chocolate. Slight grain flavor, some more sweet notes than others in the style. Chocolate, bready.

Stew41 (2118) - Phuket, THAILAND - FEB 5, 2017
Much better than expected. Nice roast and milk chocolate, low(ish) fizz, holds a chill well. Makes for a nice dark beer in the tropics.

3.4
vinivini (3148) - Gomel, BELARUS - JAN 31, 2017
Bottle at 4.7% ABV. Pours opaque deep brown. Lush frothy beige head. Decent retention. The foam leaves sophisticated pattern laces on glassware. Bread and wort on nose. Also molasses, roasred malts. Light to medium body. Oily palate. Rich malts on flavour. Bready, toasty, minor roastiness. Semidry. Light grassy bitterness on ending. Highly drinkable and well made.

Bottle. Deep Reddish-Brown (almost Black) in colour. Malty; roasty malts, caramel, some chocolate, hint of coffee. Hoppy; slight grassy hops. Sweetish roast malty with a slight sour hop edge. OK. Easy drinking. (2011-11-28)
