Bottle. Dark brown body, medium head. Aroma has dark roasted malts with some light smoky tones. Slightly ashy and mildly roasted taste. Average, not bad.
Czarne, nieprzejrzyste, dość obfita piana. Mało intensywny aromat, czuć palone słody, ale nic poza tym. Goryczka wyczuwalna, lekko zalegająca, ciężko wyczuć coś konkretnego. Nisko wysycone. Szału nie ma Oakes (18167) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 8, 2017
DE-998. Dark brown with a lousy head - looks a bit like cola, though not nearly as carbonated. The malts are of the dark, sweet, sugar type, ok on their own but lacking in nuance. And hinting at a really sugary beer. On the palate, basically has that cola-malta (malzbier) character you get from large amounts of residual wort in the beer. Now, I like the taste of malt, which is why I will drink malta on occasion. But it’s a thin leg on which to stand your dark lager - you need more malt complexity, and ideally some sort of dryness. If this was made by some sort of Mediterranean macrobrewery I’d be a lot happier; Germans can do better. GhostS (422) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - JUL 19, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 Aroma - mild, with roasted malt and black bread bark quite a bit oily. Taste - weak and watery, slightly sweet, with some metal hardness in the background, a soft bitterness of some burnt grains. Good, mild and watery. artemb (1066) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - JUL 19, 2017

Taste: light sweetness, light burned acidity.
Flavour: roasted, some coffee, dark toasted bread, some chocolate.
Good, may be too light. remALUS (398) - Kaunas, LITHUANIA - JUL 3, 2017

Geras tamsus alus.. viskas OK
Looks alright, pours a root beer color, ivory colored head. Aroma is heavy in earth, tea, tobacco. Head a flat feel to it. Sweet earth flavor, tea leaves, boring malt....flashes of dark spice. Meh. bobroman (1184) - Torun, POLAND - MAY 30, 2017
Delicate aroma of malts and caramel. Large, rocky, off-white head with nice lacing. Clear dark brown colour. Sweet malty and caramel taste with just a bit of roasted bitterness. Too watery and too sweet, but at least drinkable. puren (1181) - Gdańsk, POLAND - MAY 30, 2017

ciemne pieczywo, drożdże, lekka pilsowa szmata;
ciało średnie, wysoko nasycone, ale gładkie, krągłe;
za aromatem i lekka ziołowa goryczka;
ciemny chleb w formie piwa, brakuje mi tu czekolady i trochę wyraźniejszego chmielu.
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2017 Draft at Bru Craft. Opaque very dark brown/black pour with only a tiny ring. Moderately dark roasty malts. Molasses. Pumpernickel. Black liquorice. Celery. Peat. Very clean. Feels absence of flavor though. WarMan04 (376) - Bydgoszcz, POLAND - MAY 16, 2017
Pours dark brown colour with a small and ecru head. Light malty aroma, metallic and grassy notes. Then some caramel and toffee. Pleasant. Taste is dry with a medium, grassy bitterness. Roasted and caramel notes. Refreshing, but quite watery. Highly carbonated, medium body. Okay.
