Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Poured a nice light straw color with a good head on it. Very fragrant nose with lots of grains, malty tones and some straw tones as well. Medium bodied that is more grainy on the palate than on the nose. Very good feel that is very smooth as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.5 L bottle, at 1.50. Golden beer with some particles. Big fluffy white head with good lacing. Some hop on the nose. Aroma of pilsener malts and lots of grassy hops leading to a spicy bitter finish. Medium body, low carbonation. Earthy, honest, simple and good.

500ml Bottle:
Not the strongest on the nose but a pleasant pilsener aroma to it none the less. There is a sweet grassy hops and corn aroma along with a little grain and lager like malts.
Straw amber with faint red tinges throughout & topped by a foamy white, two-fingers width head that has nice retention along with leaving some light lacing on the glass.
Sweet tasting beer that the nose hints at, there is some corn and grassy hops in there too. It tastes pretty straight forward but it is nice, crisp and has some good floral notes too.
Pretty smooth with a light to medium body and a nice crisp, refreshing finish which is also mildly bitter feel to it.

It isnt the most complex beer I have ever had but still one that I enjoyed and it is one that I would have again.

Of the Krombacher brews that I have tasted, this one is one of their better ones; thats not saying much but just saying. This brew is very dry, crisp and refreshing. A fine choice for the BBQ or fish fry. Very light on the palate and quite an easy drinker. Would make for a great beer to use in beer-batter recipes.

11/7/11. 11.2oz bottle. Clear dark golden pour with a big, frothy, meringue-like off-white head that lasts forever and laces plenty. Sweet caramel aroma hits first followed by grainy malts, a bit of grassiness, and distinct tortilla chip flavors. Sweet caramel entry at first followed again by tortilla chips but this time with the addition of green apples and metal. Not great.

Golden, clear pilsner beer. Pours with a 2 inch white head that goes away in a few minutes. Nice intricate lacing. Mild, sweet grain aroma. A small amount of bubbling. Grassy, malty flavor. Finishes sweet and with a minimal amount of hop bitterness.

11.2 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a golden straw color, clear, with a thin white head. Delicious aroma of sweet grains. Smells sugary and bready. Taste does a 180 and hits my tongue with bitterness -- spicy bitterness from good noble hops. Sweetness emerges on the back of the tongue and in the aftertaste. Im loving the brewers description on this site: "The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence." Hmm. It probably makes sense in German, or after drinking a few more of these. Good brew!

Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 330 ml bottle. Medium golden pour, fluffy white head that leaves a thin trail of lacing. Spicy, peppery aroma with a hint of grain. Flavor has some underlying buttery accents, some grassy notes and some underlying peppery spiciness. Mouthfeel is crisp. Solid pils.
