Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Seems to be a very German pilsener. Nice clean aroma, some honey-ish sweet malt, small but noticable noble hops.
Flavours are much the same. Honey, mild hops, quite floral. Quite clean mouthfeel. Not bad overall

330 ml bottle in 6-pack from TBS, served cold in a Scotch Irish taster glass.

App.: Clear golden with a decent off-white foam. Aroma: Peppery, grassy, wet hay, cooked/boiled cereals, light DMS maybe?, slight biscuit. Palate: Medium body, fairly full carbonation. Flav.: Some cardboard, cereals/grains, less of the hop notes (still there though), minerals; dry with restrained bitterness and a clean light malt finish.

Certainly hits the spot on a hot day after chores.

hawthorne00 (3814) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 30, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2014 Bottle. Gold, disappointingly loose and disappearing white head. Fairly low bead, too. Smells lean: clean malt with grass. Mild malt and low caramel sweetness. Not a particularly crisp finish. [2.7]

Can. Ha! - old fond memories (from - bloody hell - the 80s IIRC) vindicated. Gold with a large white head that never disappears. Clean pale malty aroma with grass and herbal garnish. Fullish bodied with firm clean malt garnished by grassy and mildly spicy finishing bitterness.
