Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

On tap: To my surprise, I kind of liked it on tap - herbal hoppy flavour and aroma, crisp bitterness and carbonation, a faint hint of canned corn in the aroma. Short finish and a bit watery, but nicely drinkable.

bottle. Poured clear amber with an initially large white head. Hoppy aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Bready malt flavour with a nice dry bitter finish. A nice crisp pilsner, solid beer.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Dusseldorf. Softish palate. Creamy malt. Very mild bitterness. Leads to a sweeter finish. Decent.

(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a tall dense white head, great lacing. aroma of grain and light floral hops, perhaps a hint of straw. flavour is again mostly grain, quite sweet, with a very faint floral-hoppy finish. light- to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

kjc51478 (441) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - NOV 14, 2010
0.5l Bottle. Pours a nice golden yellow with a good, thick, and lacy head. Aroma is weak with hints of malts and grains. Taste is likewise weak. It was overly watery with only a slight hop bitterness expected from Pilseners. The malt flavor is sweet and grassy. Very little aftertaste.

inbirraveritas (1576) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 12, 2010
Pours a clear golden with a medium and laceing head, which remains filmy. Smell of flowers, bread and spice. Starts fruity and the dry and light sourish aroma is of flowers, herbals and grass, the bitter finish brings citrus and spice along, which remain in a sweet-spicy aftertaste. An easy drinkable, better kinded (mass)pils.

tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2010
Pours clear dark golden with huge fluffy white head leaving pretty lacing. Aroma is acidy spicy and herbal, sweet malty and tones of hops. Lean acidy mouthfeel. Flavor is crispy and hoppy, sweet caramel and fruity. Acidy sweet palate. Finishes first slightly fruity turning into nice dry and bitter hoppy bite.

Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 4, 2010
not too shabby, pretty clean taste, easy to drink. Pours clear and good flavour
