COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Can, half a litre at home. Poured a golden yellow colour with a two finger head that soon went away, but stayed enough to protect the surface. Average bubbles rising to the top. Aroma is of malts and something I can’t put my finger on, but quite pleasant. Taste is bitter and metallic. Medium bodied, leaves a dryness on your tongue. Average carbonation. Overall one step ahead of your average german pilseners.

Can (4,8%) brought home from Germany. Yellow color with medium, creamy, head. Aroma is somewhat malty. Taste is well balanced and pilsner-like. Ok finish. An ok pilsner style beer.

Nothing special about this but it was drinkable. I like a bit more pronounced grainy character and hoppiness in my Pils.

If you're going to be a widely available lager, you might as well taste good. This manages to be reasonably flavorful for the style with no off flavours.

Классический пилзнер с достаточно мерзопакостным послевкусием. Советую пить залпом почти всю бутылку, дабы пиво питкое, сделать вам это не составит большого труда.

500ml can from bottle shop in Peebles, Scotland. Pours straw colour, with huge white head. Ultra carbonation. Nose is bread, malt grain, straw, slight sweetness, pepper and lemon. Smooth. Taste is bready, straw, slight grassy hop, pepper and touch of lemon. Light bitter finish. Hugely refreshing, slightly sweet Pils. No metallic taste like some of the Macro Pils have. This one is a winner for me.

Piepenhenrich (1171) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2017
One of the most heavily marketed Pils in Germany and one of the big sellers. Good quality, easy to drink and not bad at all, it is how ever to much of a mainstream brew for my liking.

0.5l can. Clear pale yellow body with a huge white head that lasts for a wile. Aroma of mostly bread, hay with some spicy hops. The taste also starts with bready malts and hay followed by a nice amount of spicy/fruity hops. It also has a bit of sour grainy character. Nothing fancy, but it's a nice, refreshing pils.
