This is an ugly hay orange w/ barely any head to speak of. Aroma and flavor are mostly banana and a bit of spice. Heavy and a bit sticky on the palate. Finishes mild w/ a hint of grassy bitterness. This really doesn’t scratch the hefeweizen itch.

330 ml bottle. Pours with a cloudy amber color and nice white hed. Nose is cereals, yeast, Taste foloows the nose with some citric flavors and too much yeast. Slightly dry.

500ml bottle into weizen glass. Pours with the usual towering white head, underneath is some mad carbonation. Nose of hops, pepper, spice, banana. Smooth mouthfeel. Patchy lacing all the way down the glass. Sweet and spritzy at first. Finish is caramel, banana, and cloves. A little hoppy bitterness to balance. Classic Hefeweizen, delicious.

From Ausshopping >> Weizen Westphalienne agréable mais ordinaire.

A respectable hefeweizen but certainly not in the top tier. Average aroma and flavor. The head dissipated into a thick ring and left some lacing, which does not happen for a lot of beers in this style. Body was not as creamy as I like it.

500 ml bottle. Nicely cloudy orange color wheat beer. Drank it cold and it was great for refreshing. Little bit sweet but not too sweet. No weird fruity flavors like 1663 Blanc or Edelweiss or Hoegatden Citron, here's just natural wheat and a little hops taste. From draught tastes better and has more head and less sweet. One of my favorites.

fellebag (1570) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 21, 2017
Foamy white head. Good carbonation. Hazy orange yellow color. Aroma is flowers, wheat. Taste is sweet.

Nice foam but thats about the only good thing. Sour nose and a bit boring taste. Mediocre Weizen.
