Draught. Clear light orange / yellow color with a average good lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet (sugar sweet) and light bitter, with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Euro hops scent. A bit grainy. Nice semi sweet refreshing taste but with a dry finish. A bit of maty nuts. Slightly sweet aftertaste.

This is a nice beer. I went searching for Lowenbrau one evening and the clerk suggested this as an alternative. It is a nice golden colour with a light malty aroma. A very smooth beer with a very smooth taste that goes down easy, but has just enough bite to make you appreciate this beer. I did go back to the store the next day and tip the clerk for his suggestion.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 5, 2007
Canned 50cl. My version was at 4.2 ABV. A beautiful yellow beer with a decent head. Aroma of lemon, glue and white pepper with quite a lot of malt. Some lemon, cereals and glue in the taste. Slightly sour. This lager leaves a nice lacing. Some hints of banana? Underhopped, lacking in good hop presence at first impression, but then the finish turns out to be nicely biscuitty, balanced by a surprising crisp hoppinness. I think Kronenbourg produce very dinstinctive lagers which have some qualities.

Canned, Tried in Paris last winter. Nice yellow clolor with a good white head, some hops in aroma and low bitterness in flavor. Cerveja dourada com espuma densa, aorma com notas de lúpulo e sabor com baixo amargor..

Draft. Everything you look to avoid in a beer: Overpriced yet doesn’t distinguish itself from Coors Lite. Tiny bit of sweetness. Kinda stanky. Weak on everything that would qualify to hit your tongue as "taste." I see no reason to ever drink this again.

can’t tell much difference from this and 1664 apart from regional availability, could anyone enlighten me??

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2007 Draft-Center City Philly-Poured a Clear golden-slight reddish coloring with a very slight head. It had very light hops, and a interesting malt flavoring. Nothing overwhelming or outstanding, but worked pretty well. Would drink it again

Draft. Clear golden color. Head was bubbly and white with poor retention. Typical pale lager...light grassy hops with a touch of cereal grain waved over it. Eh.

Not a bad lager but still lacks any depth or interesting flavour. Some malts and a touch of hops but overly skunky.
