A very mediocre European beer. I’ve drunk this many times in many locations with many different people.
If anyone were to tell me that this was superior to Hamm’s I’d tell them to fuck off. murawski (160) - USA - APR 17, 2006
Had during a Happy Hour in Charlotte, NC. Didn’t expect much from this light lager, but it wasn’t that bad. Clear yellow color, almost no head at all, and a light fizzy mouthfeel. Flavor reminded me of Harp. Not terrible. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 22, 2006
I wasnt too impressed with this beer. It was hardly better than the crappy american pale lagers, but more expensive. Very forgetable and I would not recommend omhper (24977) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 17, 2006
Bottled (5.8%), brewed by SPA ALBAV, Algeria. Pale yellow, brief, rich head. Lemony nose. Sweet with soft, mellow mouthfeel. Clear notes of vegetables that manages to dominate over the strange lemon juice. Tin is obvious. No bitterness. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 12, 2006
To be honest, not much to be said on this. Tasted from both the bottle and draught form in Morzine (French Alps). Pretty horrible - dry and no real flavours to speak about. Maybe bearable if you cool to near freezing and then swallow quickly.

Draught in Paris. Pretty darn good for a pale lager, had an interesting funky undertone I couldn’t quite identify. Went well with light fare, was, I dare say, complimentary; there are many worse ways to describe a beer than "went well with munchies." I’d like to re-evaluate. bask (305) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 12, 2006
Bottle. Quite average look: Clear white creamy head, simple golden body. Light malty weak aroma. Metallic and light bitter flavour, short finish. Too metallic mouthfeel. KarmanGhia (276) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2007 This is not a total disaster as the graininess is bearable and there’s the slightes fruity tinge. The sweetness isn’t overbearing, so, as a cheap mass buy, you can permit yourself one or maybe 8 of these, occasionally. kyuss (21) - BELGIUM - JAN 19, 2006
One of the only decent lagers you can get in Les Menuires. Almost no head at all, not much flavor, a bit like a Heineken but better. A boring lager but nog bad (if bought cheap). Likeburning (149) - Franklin, Tennessee, USA - JAN 9, 2006
Bring a Pale LAger is its first handicap that I was unable to get over. (I wish I knew what it was when I ordered it) Needless to say, my introduction to French beer was not a welcome one. The head was too thick and the beer was skunky and smelled of cleaning products. Just like other things from france, high in price and low in quality.
