Draught. Clear light orange / yellow color with a average good lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet (sugar sweet) and light bitter, with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

40 cL from tap. Pours golden yellow with little head. Aroma is sweet, light malty - almost no hops. Taste is wellrounded, sweet and light. Overall soft and straight forward.

Can. A golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of grain, hay, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of metallic hops, a bit of malt, and hay, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled (old bottle, no 1664 mentioned on the bottle). Deep golden/pale amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, some herbs, mild raisins as well as some sweet malty (the vintage) notes. Flavour is caramel, bread, some herbs and mild earthyness in an interesting mix. Has aged quite well with hops more or less disappearing and the malts going a bit sweeter than they should be. Actually very pleasant "vintage beer", although pale lagers are not the best for aging...

Bottled (5.8%), brewed by SPA ALBAV, Algeria. Pale yellow, brief, rich head. Lemony nose. Sweet with soft, mellow mouthfeel. Clear notes of vegetables that manages to dominate over the strange lemon juice. Tin is obvious. No bitterness.

Clear gold beer. Soft palate. Malt with some caraway nuttyness. Pretty bland.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, fully golden with a fairly decent head - and thats about it. Soft, very soft actually, with a very weak bitterness. But otherwise a classical, streamlined, commercial lager. Very uninteresting indeed. 040303

33cl can bought in Luxembourg. Pours clear golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt, cheap hops, metallic notes. Taste of grainy and sweet malt, cheap hops, metallic hops, sad..

Rasmus40 (21990) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2011
Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet and light malty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Watery and light bodied. 290106

The epitome of a bland, blond lager. Quite inoffensive, but entirely lacking in any distinctive features. Better than water for quenching a thirst on a summer day, but not much else to say really. Bottled, France, December 2003.
