UPDATED: DEC 12, 2013 Der Geruch ist fruchtig-hefig.
im Geschmack sehr schön süßlich-süffig-würzig mit leichter Hefenote; schön vollmundig-weich. Leicht herb-hopfig-frisch im Nachgeschmack, mittellang anhaltende sehr milde Herbe. Auch dort noch schön hefig.

Bottle. Hay and barley malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sweet barley malt, and lightly bitter herbal hops finish. Nice body. Very nice - pretty hoppy for the style. lachesis (757) - St Idesbald, BELGIUM - SEP 25, 2006
Slight hazy lemon yellow with good stabile white head. Aroma is very malty and clear sent of fresh dried cereals, some honey without the sweetness and some hints of herbs and hops. anyway, the aroma is attactive and well in ballans. The taste is smooth, fresh malty, has a slight fruity touch aqnd ends with a complex flowery, soft hoppy finish. Thanks Sebastian for this elegant and very tastefull thirst-killing brew. We found the bottle in Monschau. Wish we’d picked up more. Nice, dank, piney green hop aroma wafts across the room after pouring. It’s a hazy yellow-gold beer with a sturdy marshmallow-white, meringue-like top. That green-hop nose also has some sweetish cereals there beneath. It tastes lightly sweet with a firm, crisp hop-bitterness to it. Nice character, very refreshing. My wife kept stealing it. mariuszek (1380) - Gdynia, POLAND - JUL 2, 2015
Pours opaque, pale golden, medium white head. Pilsy aroma of hay, minerals with a bit of yeast. Taste malty, hoppy, high carbonation, delicate bitterness on finish and malty hoppy aftertaste. Nice one

Sparkling, yellow body. Splendid, white, rocky head. Nose of hops (orange). Lightly bitter to lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter. Drinks very smoothly. Nice German landbier.
Bottle. Quite clean, with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Some nice grassy bitterness in the finish, again, has a lovely soft bitterness. Nice refreshing finish, very pleasant. JanEric (1233) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2010
Tap in a Biergarten in Manderscheid. Hazy yellow colour with a big head, like a weizener. Aroma is more straw and wheat. Somewhat bitter taste, with a bit sourish aftertaste, and a bit dry and bitter finish. Refreshening. gunnar (9094) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2013

draft in cologne, had to try a landbier here, very rustic, almost tastes like there are other spices in it, the malts are odd but interesting, not very drinkable.
