COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The best way of celebrating our anniversary was to create a new beer. After 5 years Kross 5 was born. It’s a strong ale that has the peculiarity of being the first Chilean beer matured in oak, as well as being bottled in a unique format. It’s a very versatile beer capable of accompanying different dishes.

Maltas Especiales: Caraambar, Caramunich, Rubia, Carafa Especial, Tostada
Lúpulos: Glacier, Goldings, Mount Hood, Horizon, Cascade

Optisch schön dunkel, stabiler Schaum. In der Nase Holz, fast Whisky. Im Trunk unfassbar cremig, Honig, Schokolade, Karamell ganz deutlich. Himmel, ist das lecker. Und dann auch noch aus Chile - chapeau!

Bottle. Bronze color, good foam. Aroma: vanilla, oak, barrels, toffee, caramel, fortified wine, a little bourbon. Taste: oak, vanilla, bourbon, toffee, very warming, oily, medium hop bitterness, good balanced.

Bottle, 33cl. Clear maple colored. Earthy fruity and caramel aromas. Medium bodied, moderate to fizzy carbonation. Medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Rustic roasted character into a complex bitter finish

Grumbo (3844) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2016
Bottle from biershop.com. Pours a cloudy chestnut brown, with small white head. Aroma of prune, coffee, and wheat. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Medium/full body, rich texture. Rather delicious.

On tap at KrossBar in Santiago . Sweet bubblegum and so w Christmas nutmeg spice notes. Quite nice and strong without being boozy.

330 ml bottle from Jumbo Los Ángeles. Aroma is very sweet and reminds caramel and chocolate. Also, it has some notes of floral smell. A beer with a strong and pronounced roasty flavor. Light foam as a result of the low carbonation. It needs a flavor less toasted, more balanced.

Excellent Chilean anniversary special beer. I believe this was brewed as an end of thebyear gift from the brewery to their private clients, but the reception was so good they decided to brew it to the general public, and im happy they did. This is not an all ocassion brew, more like a 'dessert' type thing, after a meal. Enjoy at roon temperature to get all the oakiness dried fruits and alcohol this beer has to offer. Highly recommended

An attempt at a sopphisticated high gravity belgian style ale. Ends up being an over the top concoction of beer adjuncts that don’t blend well.

Hits the style. Good oaking. Tad almost astringency. Dark golden, lasting head. with some rum taste. Good drinkability.
