COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Maltas Especiales: Pilsen, Caraambar, Carafa, Cebada Tostada, Caramelo

Pours dark brown, small head with poor retention (specially considering that says cream stout on the label). Little to no aroma of burnt grains. Flavor is more favorable, with hints of toffee, chocolate and roasted barley. Very light feeling in the mouth with a short finish. Weak

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2016 On a label it is written stout, cream stout. Nice dark brown and bit reddish color. Light brown, 3 fingers frothy head that does not lasts. Spare lacing. Aroma of a coffee, roasted malt. Little bit honey and later caramel. Light bitter and sweet taste. Medium body. Bit alcoholic flavor. Creamy to oily. Light dry finish. Average duration. Little bit too carbonated. With more character in a body and taste would be playing in a top division. Anyway decent beer

The big key with this beer is the aroma: caramel, chocolate, coffee, toast. The appearance is not especially fantastic, but it is a "correct" one. And the taste, the big hit is in the attack, the first taste when a medium to heavy bitter flavor gets in the tongue.

[my specimen - directly coming from Chile - was more exactly a "cream stout"; I cannot find this reference even on the brewery’s wedsite]. Dark, black liquid topped by a very fine dark beige foam that doesn’t last. Smells of toasted/burnt bread and coffee. Roundness at first, and dry bitterness at last.
