Great flavor, great aroma. Overall this is a great tasting beer. The flavor has a bit of a smokey taste.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2008
Draught at the brewery’s restaurant as Josefi Bock. Clear copper colour. Small off-white head. Good malty and caramelly flavour. A bit sweet like a Bock should be, and with a nice amount of alcohol to balance it. Very well-balanced and pleasant.

Pours clear brown with a foamy head. Light carbonation. Aroma has banana like a hefeweizen, some dark malts as well. Flavor is surprising... butterscotch with drying malts on the finish. The round mouthfeel is all over the finish, leaving no actually flavors. A good, cheap beer.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace.

Clear medium orange colour with a large to huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, fruity, sugary - sweet malt (bock alike), moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sugary - bockbier, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120525]

Bottle: Light amber coloured, mid-sized, quite stable off-white head; sweet-malty nose with a tinge of alcohol and distinctive traces of floral hops; sweet and distinctive bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet-malty finish with a moderate aromatic bitterness coming later. A ver well quaffable Bock, well balanced and warming..............

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - DEC 18, 2010
Best before April 18, 2011. Wow, for some reason has a very smoky malt feeling to it, in the aroma and the flavor. Malty, sweet, hop spice (cinnamon, hay). The aroma is awesomely fresh and even fruity (raisin). Nicely sustained carbonation. A little sweet as it warms of course. Great fresh beer, get it fresh.

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 22, 2010
