Tap at Huett’n. Orange-brown color with a fine, low head. Nose of caramel, biscuit, brown sugar. Sweet, sugary flavor, a bit thin. Not interesting.

Draft @ Weinstube Pizzini, Bamberg. Pours a dark amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak bready caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel bready flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig, licht zoet, caramel, brood en iets van koffie. Goed bier.

Moravius (1289) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - AUG 4, 2015
Eher mild rezent, schlank, angenehm „griffiges“ Mundgefühl. Im Abgang ein wenig blaß erdig-trocken. - Sehr schönes, malzaromatisch-süffiges Frankenlager, trotz etwas schwacher Hopfung recht kernig. Allerdings kein „Hopfencognac“ - hier irrt Michael Rudolf.

I tried this somewhere in Bamberg. Light bready and malty smell. Similar taste with some metall. Distinct bitterness. A bit too metallic.

ippopotamo36 (2379) - Rome, ITALY - JUL 6, 2015
o,50 bottle purchased in Franconia-Germany and consumed in Kosovo. Mortlach, beviiiiiiii. Pours a very brownish-dark amber color with a medium ivory foam with retention on the surface. Nose: burnt bread crust, a far too wired farmhouse note (mmmmh), a hint of liquor (Ballantines, something sweet or orangey). Mouth: amber-vienna malts orientation forward, easy drinking anyway, sweet character immediately cut by a bitter finish. Not that refined, a bit confusing although highly enjoyable.

SeniorZozo (1843) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 28, 2015
It’s mahogany-red with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of caramel, nuts and light vegetables. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of nuts, caramel roasted malt and the finish is dry.

Pour light brownish with a tall, vanishing tan and bubbling head. Caramel and malty aroma. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee. Nice lager, refreshing, tasty. How a real lager should taste like. Medium body, medium carbonation.
