Pour light brownish with a tall, vanishing tan and bubbling head. Caramel and malty aroma. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee. Nice lager, refreshing, tasty. How a real lager should taste like. Medium body, medium carbonation. harrisoni (19023) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2015

Bottle sample at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. As Krug-Bräu Lager. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, graininess, vegetal notes and a bit of toast. Sweetish flavor, malty, with caramel, toast, a vegetal note, and a drier and slightly bitterish finish. Rather light-bodied.

On tap at the Pappenheimer Wirtschaft, Hamburg: 11th Dec 2014. Clear brown body with a lasting white head that gave impressive lacing. Malty and sweet in both the nose and taste. A very nice Dunkel, if like me you prefer the sweeter versions of the style. Uncomplicated and decent. User37895 (3042) - - DEC 12, 2014
Pour was dark/brown, off white head, lacing ok. Aroma of nuts and caramel and roasted malts. Flavor followed with some bread and herbal and grassy hoppy notes. Mouthfeel full for the style, even a little slick.
