Impressive white head. Clear dark brown colour. Very mild, but pleasant taste. And a nice soft caramelly palate. harald40 (4) - - NOV 25, 2012 does not count

Cask (Bayerische Anstich) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Nut brown, firm creamy head. Evident coffee aroma. Dryish and solidly malty with seemless capuccino flavour. All flavours seem to arise from roasty malt, yet it’scomplex and laidback at the same time. Finishes with medium bitterness. A top effort! Usko (171) - Bavaria, GERMANY - DEC 14, 2013
Clear brown-red color, white head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt, nuts and bread. Taste is quite the same. Extremely well balanced: bitterness, carbonation, body, mouthfeel... like it! lupuLust (313) - Franke(n) im Breisgau, GERMANY - AUG 8, 2017
Bready, süffig, mild hoppy. Lots of taste for 5%. Clean dark malt blend aroma. Some hoppy flowers finishing and dark fruits this round lager of fresh baked franconian Bauernbrotkruste with dark caramels. Well balanced with typical low carbonation.

Nice sourdough aroma (yeast and lactic acid), wood and bitterhops.
Brown, low head and well-lagered low carbonation.
Wooden flavors with a hint smoke, sweet malts,
Nice hop finish.
Mouthfeel is the lovely franconian dry keller-fizz, body could be a tad fuller.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2006 Bottle - Sour rye aroma. Medium brown in color. Great flavor of rye malt with next to no bitterness. A very good beer. kappldav123 (6111) - GERMANY - MAY 31, 2011
Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer surprisingly dark, the name was "Lager". Also tastes more like a Dunkel than like a Lager. Starts malty and dry, not too much, not too sweet. Well balanced finish, malty-dry, some notes of caramel. Great beer! trapped (3269) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 5, 2013
Drought. Reddish brown with spongy beige head, light caramel aroma, roasted malt-caramel taste, fizzy, sweetish finish. Very very nice dunkel.
