This is excellent beer. Krug is the standout brewery in the Aufsess area for me. The pils ticks all the boxes - magnificent in the glass, tiny hop explosion, tiny malt beautifully balanced, magnificent golden-to-straw appearance. Nice bitterness, very good beer. I went there twice, on 17/18 September 2014 - I went back because it was the standout and had a bit of a session and met the brewer !

Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - DEC 4, 2013
Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts malty, modest dry, mild fruity like lemon. Some sourish-metallically notes, but not too much. Well balanced finish, dry, fine malty. Okay!

Moravius (1289) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - NOV 10, 2013

culchiem (3971) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 20, 2013
Bottle. Clear golden with a thin head, excellent lacing. Aroma is dusty grain and malt. Flavour is nutty, dust and malt on a long even bitter finish.
