Harmony between taste and beauty - Dark beer is the traditional product of the Royal Brewery of Krušovice and for more than 100 years the production of this beer has not stopped. The beer has a full, sweet caramel taste and a light hop flavour. The high quality of the raw ingredients assures the excellent taste of the beer. There are several types of malt, natural spring water from the Křivoklát Wood and hops from the Žatec area.

Bottle, many thanks Beerhunter111! Dark brown color with ruby highlights and a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted, cinnamon, plums. Taste is super roasted, chocolate, earthy, herbal, cinnamon. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad, but extremely roasted.

Can at Bratislava central station. Aroma quite sucks but taste is rather balanced and one can enjoy it with roasted bits and all. Not astonishing but okay.

Finisz minimalnie goryczkowy o charakterze kawowym. Wysycenie średnie w kierunku do niskiego.

W aromacie karmel palone i miodowe nuty, w tle susz owoców, z czasem aromat brzeczkowy.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before October 2018. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, dark chocolate and some coffee. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and some caramel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and a little grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice!
