kerenmk (5169) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 2, 2017
On tap at Dicker Mann, Regensburg. Clear brown. Aroma of caramel, a little roasty - in other words, coke. Sweetish taste with burnt and roasty notes. Light body, long and lightly roasty finish. Mild fizz.

regrettable rando buy. What a completely anodyne taste, low bodied and watery. The bit of pumpernickel bread I’m getting is nice, but it’s barely exposed, even less so than the cheap caramel, a bit metallic in the aftertaste.

3.3

Sampled at the Brauereigasthof zum Kuchlbauer, Abendsberg. Thick brown head. Dark brown color. Mild roasted aroma with a bit of boiled vegetables. Mild taste with a touch of metal.

Nettes Dunkel mit den üblichen Verdächtigen: Ein wenig an Malz, etwas Karamell, ein paar Nüsse. Dazu ein bisschen Holzigkeit. Recht süffig, angenehm zu trinken, ganz ok.

McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - OCT 30, 2014
Bottle from Getränke Kistner in Forchheim. The beer pours out in a deep dark brwon colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of malt and dark bread. Taste of malt, dark roasted barley, roast, woods, bread and wheat. Easy to enjoy, solid beer.

My Bottom Line:
Earthy hops join toasted and nutty malts until wooden bitterness seals this gentle Dunkel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the dark brown with ruby highlights.
-Light cherry-like Munich malt fruitiness appears in the middle.
-Mouthfeel is silky and very drinkable.
-The flavor profile is balanced.

At Dicker Mann, Regensburg.
