(Bue chez Dicker Mann à Regensburg): Une weizen avec un blé assumé qui présente des fruits enduits de cassonade comme la pomme, le raisin et même des agrumes. Les esters sont assez exubérants et phénoliques, buvabilité honnête. R4N5H (1182) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 15, 2015

Bottle. Another very kind gift from Bartram. What a guy! Pours muddy Brown with a cream coloured head. Aroma has plenty of yeast and feint banana notes. Sweet caramel to taste with wheat and more banana. Very nice. 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - FEB 26, 2017
Thank you BuckeyeBoy! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). BBF 01/06/17. Dark amber, creamy tanned head. Nose is bitter herbal leaves, roast, bay leaf, thicker dark lager body, herbal. Taste is bitter herbal leaves, bit metallic, sugary, faint coca-cola, too metallic, roast, big kitchen spices, brown banana. Basic sweet metallic kitchen spices. Expected worse, crude, sweet spice but but it manages.

Dark ruby red colour. Slightly off-white head. Coffee aroma. Tastes like coffee, a bit like chocolate. Roast-malty sweet. Quite okay for a Dunkelweizen. TBone (17531) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2006

Very dark brown, even for dunkelweizen, decent tan head. Wheaty nose with some banana esters. Carbonated mouthfeel. A bit roasted, as you could expect, but quite "hefeweizen"-like, not so "dunkel".
Bottled. Hazy dark brown colour with brown head. Sweet caramellish, a bit soapish aroma with some roast in it too. Roasted malts with wheat in flavour. A bit too sweet for me, but wellbalanced. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2006
Bottled. A dark brown coloured beer with a nice thick, slightly off-white coloured head. The aroma has banana and a touch of caramel. It is malty and even has a little berry fruit note. The taste is yeasty with estery notes. A touch of sweet caramel. Typical dunkelweizen in body and perfectly acceptable. JorisPPattyn (10001) - Ursel, BELGIUM - MAR 30, 2007
Very huge, brownish tinted head, as whipped eggwhite; over hazy coca-cola coloured beer. Bit of caramel, as well as other melanoidin-tainted dark malts. Bit of smoked ham, too; wheat and bananaester. Liquorice, wheat with a point of sourness, citrus (orange, lemon). Very perceptible CO² both in flavour as in MF. My wife says iron, she might have a point. Pretty thick, slick-wheaty texture, creamy and CO². Seems to promise a lot, but then disappoints. "Alte Liebe" - no doubt: remembrance or promises and a lot of disappointments. Apt, though the Germans claim it doesn’t rust.
