Blairgus (4536) - California, USA - DEC 31, 2015
31 Dec 2015, bottle. Yellow and faintly hazy. Nose is yeasty and faintly sweet. Med body and mildly fizzy. Mildly sweet, hints of light caramel, mildly bitter grassy and lemon hops. Actually very drinkable.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co, Clekenwell - London. Many thanks to Fergus for all this lager! Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds dry dough and light cereal. Light to medium sweet flavour, with nice bready pale malts, faint bitter hay, more cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately dry on the finish, with crispy cereal and straw. Solid lager.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. 10/09/2015. Picked up from Toon Outside Strassbourg. Yellow/ straw coloured pour with a lasting white frothy head. Aroma is grainy, semi sweet, slight eggy weg, grainy, slight staling. Flavour is composed of simple doughy, grainy, bready mlats with some spicy nobel hop, Palate is light and somewhat refreshing, dirty grains, airy carb. Dry fionish. Maybe a little age.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko thanks to Ferris, 10/09/15. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is white pepper, earthy, light vegetal tones, straw cereal. Taste comprises caramel, light bread, pale malt, earthy, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So very so .. bland and found wanting.

Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Thanks to Fergus. Hazy yellowish gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Mild minerals. Thin malts. Semi sweet floralness. Super light nuts. Whisper of tangy citrus. Light crispy finish. Okay.

Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2015
Bottle thanks to Fergus? It pours cloudy yellow-gold with a small white head. The nose is clean, soft, sweet, grainy, light paper and not much else. The taste is crisp, white bread, earth, straw, toasted grain, cracker, minerals and light grass with a dry peppery finish. Light-medium body and fine - moderate carbonation. Simple, but also pretty enjoyable.

Bottle share at CBC Clerkenwell at the guaranteed hangover tasting, thanks to Fergus. As ’Kuhler Krug Brauhausbier Helles Unfiltriert’. Hazy dark yellow, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is bready, crackers, malt syrup. Body is medium to light, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is a bit farty (’how can something taste farty?’ you ask - it just does), bready, crackers, touch of egg with a soft bitterness. Pretty meh.
