Had a taste on tap at the brewery. Delicious, has a big alcohol flavor without any of the burn. Raisiny Belgian Strong flavors. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Pour is dark mahogany with a thin off white ring. Nose is cherry magic marker and rubbing alcohol. Taste is pretty rough, marker and fusel alcohol, burnt sugars and lots of messy malt sweetness. Medium body and oily, strong carbonation and slick finish. Ratman197 (15113) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 28, 2014
Bottle 2011 vintage poured a cloudy brown with a lasting amber head. Aromas of toffee, fruitiness, spice and light funk. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, caramel, fruitiness and light spice with a smooth lingering fruity toffee finish. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - JAN 27, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2014 Tap: Deep, mahogany brown pour with a creamy khaki collar upon swirling the glass, big-bubbled & lazy. Aroma is full of spiced, peppery, Belgian-style yeast with an underbody of toasted caramel, plums, various slightly tart dark fruits, licorice, & a hint of soy sauce in the finish. Lots of yeast in the flavor as well; light spices, clove, bubblegum, & sweetness in the form of brown sugar coated plums. Big dark fruit-y backside with plenty of light sweetness & a touch of tartness... Grapes, plums, apples, just bordering on the edge of vinous. Pretty nice Belgian dark, though it may be tough to pull off in large quantity. crajun (1257) - , Texas, USA - JAN 3, 2014

Dark, almost opaque black color, small beige head. Caramel, cola, licorice in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramelly (cola candy!), low bitterness, dryish finish with some licorice. Also candy sugar and grapes. Interesting bockish dessert beer.
On tap at craftsman Ale House. Dark chocolate color. Thin head. Faint aroma of malt. Heavy alcohol taste with hints of roasted malt. Good but heavy.

Very dark amber brown, thin tan lacing. Aroma is apple cider, along with grape, cherry, and plum fruits. Also caramel, candi sugar, and a blend of spices. Complex balance of flavors, neither distinctively sweet nor bitter. Strong tannin presence initially but does not leave an unpleasant dry finish. Very lively carbonation, medium to full-bodied, and some booziness is present. shigadeyo (3761) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

6/15/2011: Kuhnhenn 9... Aroma: Black raspberry and semi-sweet chocolate/caramel. Appearance: Deep brown color, nearly opaque; dense beige head. Flavor: Somewhat rich with plenty of dark candi sugar and some dark fruits, as Tom would say "that chick must have got f-ed in the shower to have those kids because she doesn’t want to wait." I don’t really know what that means or how it applies to this beer or beer in general, but it’s funny... Palate: Medium-full, sweet and sticky, calm and smooth. Overall: Decent, but I’m not really sure what this beer is supposed to be...
