Copper/ Bronze color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is caramel with some hops. Flavor is bittersweet, with a slighlty bitter aftertaste. Palate is on the sweet size, so not as easy to drink. Kind of expected a little bit more of these, more of a belgian medium hopped red ale than a Belgo IPA. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Bottle from mikem409. Pours mahogany with slight red twinge, zero head. Nose of citrus and pine. Taste has this plus solid malt support and a pinch of clove. Body is solid, bitterness is lasting. hamilton23 (619) - Alpine, California, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Poured from 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark copper with no head at all. Aroma has some Belgian yeast and just a hint of dried fruit and caramel. Taste follows the nose pretty closely, but really lacks much punch. Seems to me like this is wrongly categorized as a DIPA, as it seems more like a Belgian ale of some type. Bottle. Pours a nice mahogany with no head. Aroma is hops with nice malts. Taste is somewhat bitter rye malts and hops. Well balanced. barncatmatt (2355) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 20, 2013
355ml bottle shared by jsprime. deep amber, flat. banana and sweet malt nose. not a fan of kuhnenn’s house belgian strain. flavour of sweet unfermented wort, minimal hops. not well packaged and pretty much a train wreck.

Really digging this one. Pours dark but clear orange with some lacing, head. Aroma of tangerine, floral hops and malt. Medium consistency. Bitter and florals and booze in aftertaste - good complex palate. Tap at brewpub. Keir (183) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 2, 2013
@ brewery. Dark amber color, thin head. Nose of dark fruits, hint of pepper. Tastes dark fruit, sweet, slight hop bitterness. Oily. Good. 04/22/10 crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Similiar to a pirat in flavor. A big malty belgian ipa, not my favorite hops, it is alright though. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - NOV 10, 2012
Tap at Barcade: Deep hazy amber pour with an off white head. Big fruity and resiny aroma. Citrus, tropical fruits and crystal malt. Velvety body. Has a big resiny flavor and some tropical fruit notes. The back gets a little inky. Some crystal malt body is apparent throughout. Not bad. Slipstream (2719) - USA - OCT 28, 2012
On draft at RnH. A really interesting IPA! Pine, herbs, basil, and grass flavors are well balanced with juicy sweetness. Excellent.
