Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Hazy amber with a small pale cream coloured head. Light crisp palate. Sweet tangy hops with generic tropical fruits and a light apple acetic vibe. Light and semi sweet malt base. Crisp minerally finish. Decent.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and citrusy hops. Light body with a caramel malt character spiked with some grapefruity hops. The finish is malty with a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

A nice starter for the day, reddish tinge to the body, with lace left. A good mouthfeel. This batch at 5.8%

Draft... Mostly clear orange/amber ale with a small, wispy, white head. Perfumey nose. Well-balanced, tangy, fruity flavor with hints of grain and hop bitterness. Not at all sweet. Light-bodied and thin with lively carbonation. Crisp, lightly tangy, dry finish.

Draught @ the brew pub. Pours a clear dark honey color with a small white head that diminishes to a ring. The aroma has some citrusy hops, mild caramel malts, a touch of spice, and some bread. The flavor has mild caramel malts, mild citrusy hops, some honey sweetness, and some bitterness inserts itself toward the end. It was a change of pace between some of the bigger beers that night.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toast, bread, some slight grass and earthy notes. Taste was a mix of caramel, earth, spice, toast, some grassy and herbal notes, finishing slightly bitter.

Tap at Hop Devil Grill. Cloudy amber golden pour. The nose is kind of odd. A bit of sweet adjuncty character and a touch of light fruitiness as well. There is also a fairly pronounced aroma of DMS in there. As it warms up it amplifies kind of turning this into a mess – buhhhh.

Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 1, 2007
On draft at brewery. Nice copper color with thin off white head. The aroma is tart grapefruit and a hint of sweet malt. Nice hop bite of what seems like grapefruit hop type flavor and bitterness. The malts take a back seat behind the tall hop flavor profile. Nice tasty beer for the hop head or aspiring hop head.
