3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 15, 2015 Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Super pale, straw colored body with a bubbly, foamy white layer of chunkiness on top. Soft apple cider & apple juice aroma with notes of cinnamon potpourri & spice drifting over top. Seemingly juicy & tart with a nice cut of cinnamon heat. Flavor follows the nose nicely... Good amount of apple sweetness up front, very cider-like with a touch of tartness, very crisp, followed by apple pie spice & a good dose of finishing cinnamon. Refreshing, easy drinking, & not too heavy on the cinnamon (that’s the key). Let’s get this straight - it does not taste like Apple Jacks. It does, however, make a nice, generic Cinnamon Apple Ale.
Nice apple cider beer. Actually enjoyable for 6-8 oz. Cloudy light cider color with off white thin head. Aroma of cinnamon and sweet Apple pie. Taste is some apple and light cinnamon. Some wheat characters. Light body light carbonation. jsquire (4599) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAR 22, 2014

This one poured a slightly hazy golden yellow color with little apple floaties and a minimal white head. Aroma was of fresh apple juice, cinnamon, and light grain. Flavor on this one was tasty, but not as close to the cereal as some of the others were. Mainly like an apple ale with a considerable amount of cinnamon. Still very tasty.
