Pours a clear gold color...bright. aroma is bourbony with maple syrup, banana, and powdered sugar...maybe a hint of pecan...it smells JUST like the title! Flavor follows suit!! ...excellent flavors reminiscent of banana french toast with a hint of honey...rediculous! Mouthfeel is light and the finish tastes of warming maple syrup with a touch of bourbon...im amazed! Oh and yeah...it tastes like the sexy cheerleader’s panties smell. b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - JUN 11, 2012
Bottle to snifter (big thanks to hubsluvsbeer). Looks good; like thick champagne. Smells AMAZING! Just like the title suggests. Tastes awesome too! This is WONDERFUL!!!!" BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Bottle via a trade. 2012. Pours with a vibrant and clear golden hued body with amazing, laser etched legs. Aromas are bready, banana, maple syrup, bourbon, amaretto, lightly peachy, biscuity, vanilla. Absolutely intoxicating aroma. Flavors are absolutely intense and mind blowing. Huge maple, bready, bourbon, coconut, honey, spice, fenugreek, banana, nutmeg and cinnamon. Very biscuity, almost oddly malty. Low vinous, huge barrel. Absolutely an insane beverage!!! Light ester, very well hidden alcohol. Medium viscosity (lower than expected), also much less warming than expected. Lived up to and surpassed my wildest expectations! 2012 bottle to oversized wine glass. 14.5% ABV edition. I don’t rate many beers/meads, but after one sip, I logged on to rate this. Sort of a commemoration, so to speak. It’s a still mead so no head or movement as it sits in the glass. Chardonnay wine color. Nutty aroma: hazelnut, almond, and pistachio. Spices are there, too. I detect mostly cinnamon and nutmeg, but there could be several others. Taste is absolutely amazing. Nutty, spicy, and definitely French toast. Best mead I have had. A little orange zest flavor pokes through upon further inspection. Definintely getting a lot of hazelnuts or almonds. Reminds me of Frangelico liqueur. Not as syrupy as expected and finishes surprisingly dry. A real beauty. Worth taking the time to rate! koleminer20 (3840) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 23, 2013
12 oz bottle. 2012 Vintage. Shared in line at the 4 Elf Party. Whoa man. This is just incredible! It smells like a plate of French toast. There is a lovely bready, mapley, syrupy, cinnamon aroma to this thing. It’s got hints of banana, and a beautiful nuttiness. The cinnamon is what seems to dominate as cinnamon tends to do. The flavor is much of the same. Aside from it being a cold liquid, one could be fooled into thinking they had just enjoyed a delightful stack of French toast. I wish the cinnamon wasn’t so dominant, but it’s hard to work with... And, the 14.5% alcohol is completely undetectable. This is just incredible!

Thanks to Dean for sharing. Fucking amazing. Arouma is artful. Cinnamon, maple syrup, super aroumatic. Each little sniff is like an exploration of a complex sugarscape...a perfect palate as well. Smooth and glasslike. savory fruits, honey nectar, sweet open flavors, continues with honey, and cinnamon. savory maple and honey notes. Finishes with a touch of warm alcohol. Best mead I’ve ever had, by a long shot. AgentSteve (1647) - SF Bay Area, California, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Pours pale bright golden with no head. Huge nose and flavor of ammeretto, vanilla, banana. Smooth palate and finish. Legs flow down the glass like a 15% Chardonnay. DuffManSW (436) - Riverside, California, USA - NOV 14, 2010

7oz Bottle via Honuswagner. graci’. The smell can be described in one word: "Jesus". well, here’s a few more words for shits & gigs: Marzipan, handmade by Jesus himself. Lots of almond notes in the nose. It sits in the glass a yellowish color and headless. This is a sticky sweet concoction, but god damned is it good. So retardedly dessertish...marzipan and banana, coupled with some pecan, and healthy dose of sex, love, and rock n roll. Fuelish aftertaste of sweet sex, and of course, almonds.
