Bottle @ Crooked Stave ROY-G-BIV Day. Huge thanks to Travis from CS for sharing this one with some of us. WOW! This mead smells stupid good. So hard to explain except that it literally smells like Cinnamon French Toast - bourbon maple syrup, cinnamon, somewhat nutty, buttery, butterscotch, coconut, and nice spice. Taste is mouth-watering - super sweet, cinnamon, bourbon french toast pancakes - vanilla, butterscotch, and sweet caramel syrup. Light body with soft carbonation. This one is totally worth the hype! Tasting courtesy of dschiller. Bottle says Bourbon Barrel Banana French Toast Mead, didn’t see that available, posting the rating here. Pours a lovely gold color and it coats the glass with a nice glaze. Aromas are butter, banana, cinnamon, bread, toast, nuts, raisins, and maple. Flavors are butter, nuts, toast, maple, banana and something that is more a cream-type flavor. Palate this is super thick and heavy but not overpowering in any way. Overall, this is one of the best drinking experiences I have ever had, tastes just advertised like a great plate of banana french toast; absolutely fantastic! Huge thanks to Brad at Jackie O’s for sharing this one in honor of Rachael’s birthday. Clear yellow in color with no head and some legs. Aroma of cinnamon, maple, almond, bread, egg and slight banana. Bread and cinnamon flavor with almond and egg before a semi-sweet maple and banana finish. Truly outstanding. hotstuff (5160) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 21, 2014
Rated on 7-24-2010 at the Ratebeer Summer Gathering in Grand Rapids, MI. This bottled mead has a transparent golden body. The aroma is sweet, banana bread, honey, and vanilla. The taste is sweet, honey, banana bread, vanilla, and alcohol. The palate is tingly and this mead is medium bodied. Overall, this is one heck of a great tasting mead! The flavors come together extremely well, smells like banana bread, worth trying and definitely a mead that I will drink again if it comes my way! Nicely done, Kuhnhenn! tchaos (428) - New York, USA - NOV 10, 2014
Pours a still golden; aroma is a phenomenal blend of banana, maple, and bourbon. Taste is true to the aroma, but better. Thrilled I got even a small sample to taste.

This smells like one of the best sweet breakfasts you’ve ever had. The taste is a little prickly. I wanted it more syrupy to go on with the syrup aroma. Flavor is light compared to smell it best I can remember having from Kuhnhenn yet. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 24, 2010
UPDATED: AUG 3, 2010 6oz nip bottle from dean. Thank u sir... Pours a mostly transparent honey pale yellow hue, forever still, lovely legs but seems a tad bit thinner than the rest for some reason or another... Huge intense bursting arom of honeycomb cinammon and pure maple syrup. Lovely and assertive. Smell this for a long time... Flavors are so in par with the aroma that is disgustingly consistent. Sweet desserty honeycomb, vaniilla, maple, cinammon. What the heck isn’t in this that isn’t solid? Smooth, sweet, terribly drinkable in small doses or maybe even huge quantities. Bottle shared by Dak. Thank you sir! Gold color pour with minimal head. Aroma is brown sugar, maple syrup, bananas and spice. Sweet flavor with all of the aroma notes included...and then some. Crazy unique and delicious! riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011

6.3 oz bottle. Light golden pour with the expected no head. The nose on this thing just jumps at you with pecans and bananas. You also get cinnamon, and sweet honey. Taste is also a pecan bomb with tons of vanilla, honey, bourbon, cinnamon and other subtle spices. Super sweet and super delicious. Could pour this stuff over ice cream.
