A clear light yellow colored beer, with no head. The aroma of bananas, caramel, almond, toast some wood and alcohol. The taste of burny alcohol with fruits like banana and almond and wood notes. The aftertaste is burny, alcohol and sweet. Damico (3150) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2013
Pours clear deep golden with no head. The aroma is perfect, big sweet hazelnuts that smell like maraschino cherries and French Toast with maples syrup, just as intended and ridiculous! The flavor starts out sweet with honey at first, but then gets huge with influence of the bourbon, not spicy or vanilla, but smooth sweet liqueur. The bananas are lightly in the background, but overall the flavors are blended so well. cubs (10721) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Bottle @ Crooked Stave ROY-G-BIV Day, big fucking thanks to Travis for sharing this with Armin, Stephen, and I. Pour a golden appearance with a bit of a bubbly white head. Aroma is out of this fucking world- bananas, nuts, toffee, honey, and caramel. Fairly nutty, somewhat herbal, moderate bourbon, toffee/caramel flavor with a nice banana presence. Man, I really would love to try this again. Fucken a bro. dimenhetfield (2554) - , Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle shared by my good bud Ed Roberts, thanks bud! Never really been a mead type of guy but this was incredible. Nice spicy cinnamon aroma with no real heat to speak of. Definitely taste very similar to french toast. I’ll be on the look out for more of these for sure wedgie9 (2703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 31, 2013

Tasted on 8/31/13 from a capped 375mL bottle, big thanks to JR for bringing this one. Pours clear pale yellow with no head, much like a white wine. The nose is absolutely fantastic. It smells just like fresh-off-the-griddle french toast with plenty of cinnamon and all of the beautiful caramel and maple bourbon in the background. There is a bit of heat on the nose and just a touch of hazelnut coming through. On the palate, it is almost the same with just the right amount of sweetness, a ton of french toast and the bourbon nuttiness on the back of the palate. The body is full with no carbonation and a long finish featuring the bourbon and hazelnut.
The flavor and aroma are ripe with spicy cinnamon, smooth sweet maple syrup, and fresh bananas bursprak (3285) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2016
Bottle @ Dangerous Bottleshare feat. Aaron from Oregon 5.0. Clear bronze pour, flat. Tons of spices here, cinnamon, maple, light ginger, grains, pancakes and some syrup. Gewd! bulldogp04 (28) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Wow !! What an amazing combination of flavors. Cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, bananas, and just the right amount of bourbon presence. Good mouthfeel. Sweet as to be expected, but not cloying in any way. Really does taste like you had some great banana French toast with a touch of bourbon-infused maple syrup. Incredible mead ! Appearance: Clear yellow with no head or lacing
Aroma: Banana french toast with vanilla syrup
Taste: Just like the name and aroma
This was a great mead. I could have just sipped this one all night.
Auction! Absolutely amazing.
It is so complex yet blended to perfection. I definetly smell and taste, honey, vanilla, nutmeg bananas, candy, bread and caramel. An there is so much more going on. I tip my hat to the brewers.
