Bottle... Pours clear and copper with no legs. The aroma is a fantastic marriage of black currant and black cherry syrups. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and no carbonation. The flavor is fruity, syrupy and sweet, offering currants and maraschino cherries. Nice. Bottle supplied by biggsbowler! VsXsV (4522) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 15, 2014

Awesome brew. I am starting to love meads =] Well. .actually by look, you couldnt tell that this is mead, more like clear sweet wine. Aroma is wonderful berries fruitiness, mixed with pleasant malt/grain background. Ofc, black currant, bit honey, vanilla. Its like mead barley wine =] Mostly sweet with light sourness and light bitterness. Bit dry finish. Really nice huge brew. Loved jtclockwork (16831) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 19, 2013

Pours amber. Aromas of black currant, cherry skins, and earthy tea. Flavor is very much black currant. Light cherry skin with hints of tart raspberry. Mild earthy woody notes with some tea. A dash of tartness with a big dry finish. Good stuff.
