3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lightly roasty aroma has plenty of chocolate and mint along with some subdued fruity esters. Murky dark brown body is topped by a line of tan head that lasts well and laces the glass. Sweet chocolatey flavour with plenty of mintiness and some light roasty notes to the finish. Medium body is surprisingly dry with moderate carbonation. Sampled on tap at the Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Festival 2005.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ MBG, dirty dark brown with minimal tan head. Another one I tried twice. Aroma very much like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Flavor very milky sweet, reminds me of an Andes dinner mint. Maybe a little thin. Another brew that is so full of flavor, a couple ounces is enough. But another great desert beer from these guys.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
MiBG Fest 2005:
Pours rich deep brown with a thin tan head and but good lace. The aroma has major notes of chocolate mint candy with some notes of burnt malt, cherry, banana, herbal hops, and dusty yeast esters. The taste was quite similiar, candy like but unlike the Toostie, this seem more akin to a beer with light bitterness and some fruit in the background. The feel while thin is still creamy and enjoyable. Good enough to have tried.
