3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 2, 2014 Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Opaque, but not fully black... Very deep, very dense, swampy brown with a small, khaki collar resting on top. Aroma has lots of sweet, milky chocolate & cocoa nibs up front, almost with a lactose-like sweetness element. Notes of nuts & creamy peanut butter that get stronger & stronger with warmth. Tastes like a liquid Reese’s Cup, & progresses like one, too. First first sips are mostly sweet chocolate, light nuts, mild residual sugar... Last half of the glass, the peanut butter aspect grows quite large & each sip is a chocolate & peanut butter bomb. Very nutty, creamy, peanut butter-y finish, hints of residual cocoa. Very nice beer, definitely one of the better peanut butter beers I’ve had.

Good beer overall for a peanut butter beer. Lots of peanut butter in the end a good body.
