Bottle… Hazy golden braggot with sparse legwork. The aroma is a luxuriant intermingling of white chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin pie spices and cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor provides sweet, succulent, pumpkin pie and vanilla sweetness offset by just the right level of woody bitterness. Finishes bittersweet. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler! j12601 (13099) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2012
Bottle at a tasting at James’ place. Pours a clear amber Slightly artificial chocolate, smells of chocolate syrup, cheap chocolate, some pie spices. Cocoa, pie spices, lingering cocoa. Unbalanced. jtclockwork (17264) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 23, 2012
Bottle thanks to Steve. Pours clear light orange. No head. Nose/taste of cheap imitation chocolate, cheap cigar, vanilla and pumpkin spice. Herbal finish. The chocolate mutes out some of the pumpkin spice but comes off as unnatural. Medium body. Tmoney99 (14965) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2012
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear dark golden brown color with good legs. Heavy chocolate, pumpkin and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and long legs. Medium to heavy pumpkin chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn. Very good mead.

Vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon on the nose but it seams they try to overpower themselves. Way better than before. Still a mess of taste on the mouth but it is better.

Bottle from the Kuhnhenn 2011 Winter Solstice party. Served in a Kuhnhenn tulip.
Pours a clear medium orange color with a very thin, bubbly white head to start. No real lacing or retention. The nose brings a bit of chocolate plus some pumpkin spice. The latter is fairly light. Some honey as well. The flavor hits the chocolate notes well, with a bit of Tootsie Roll in there. Pumpkin spices as well, focusing on nutmeg and cinnamon. Medium chewy body with low carbonation and no hint of the 16% alcohol. Really quite good. Boom. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 30, 2012
12 oz bottle shared by Derek. Thanks, bud! Opened after the regular Pumpkin. Pours a rich golden orange hue, faint haze but largely transparent. A faint head dies to nothing. Aromas are cocoa and pumpkin puree, vanilla and cinnamon come on well, touches of nutmeg, spice, and honey. Gentle sweetness, mellow honey, more pumpkin pie with some touches of cocoa. Initial is mellow, lighter bodied with a touch of thickness from the mead, offering sweet honey, fruit, and pumpkin pie. Spicy cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla smooths the ordeal out as cocoa takes on a more complex element. Rich cocoa comes into the fold, tootsie rolls, much stronger than I thought could do. A touch of toast, creamy sweetness, rich and more than the regular pumpkin. Very nice. Rich and complex, a step up from regular Pumpkin. deyholla (12240) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy deep orange gold with an off white head that dissipates completely. ArOma has notes of pumpkin with some tOotsie roll and a bit of spice. Flavor has a lot of tootsie roll with a nice pumpkin and spice note. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2012
12oz bottle. Courtesy of Derek once again... Pours similar to the precious albeit with a slightly darker shade and topped with a mostly non-existent head... Aroma consists of pumpkin and honey to a lesser extent with a coinciding chocolate tootsie roll quality to it. Increasingly sweet butthe pumpkin was more pronounced... Flavors are more of the same with honey chocolate where the pumpkin falls somewhat to the wayside. Body is shy of medium with the added carbonation. daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 26, 2012
Sparkling gold pour. Aroma of honey, white chocolate, pumpkin spice and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, booze, pumpkin, light chocolate notes sneaking around. Good stuff and unique as hell!
