Inbreak (6025) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - APR 30, 2017
30.04.2017, 0,375l bottle (2012 vintage @ 15%, label marked 12 oz) @ home:
Flat, deep reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry boozy, bubblegum, minerals, paper, alcohol, chocolate, sour raspberries, grass, weeds, dark berries, artificial sweetener, honey. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, paper, bubblegum, minerals, grass, berry skin, chocolate, artificial sweetener, alcohol, bark, dark berries. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea. Maybe it’s better drinking it fresh...

Pour out of bottle at the brewery, dark reddish brown pour with no head, still pour, aroma brought notes of big chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, into some slight booze, nice honey and raspberry with a touch of honey. Taste is a mix of nice sweet raspberry, tart acidic notes into some chocolate, baker’s chocolate, hints of honey, finishing sweet. Nice.

koleminer20 (3593) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - DEC 3, 2016
375 mL bottle. The pour is a darker purpley brown with a couple spots of head and no lace. Only legs left behind. The aroma is full of chocolate and port. There is a hint of raspberry to it but the alcohol is heavy. The woodiness is interesting. The flavor is sweet chocolate with light raspberry and a a lovely port woodiness. This is good. The mouth feel is thin and light with a thin flavor left. The aftertaste is light and clean with a woody chocolate. It’s really interesting.

Bottle shared with koleminer20 and Gus, and Benny for the reunion of Meat Cloud and the Bird Dicks. Aroma is raspberry, chocolate, booze, port, good. Appearance is reddish brown, no carbonation. Taste is chocolate, raspberry, port wine, barrel, toffee, caramel, it tastes like a mead version of Utopias. Mouthfeel is medium body, no carbonation, caramel chocolate raspberry aftertaste. Overall, it’s good.

pushkinwow (2790) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUL 11, 2016
Bottle. Brown with no head. Fairly sweet with a mix of bittersweet and milk chocolate but a balance is achieved with a nice tartness from fresh raspberries, booze is present but and pleasant on the nose - mild carbonation and fully body, becomes very sweet on the palate with the fruit fading and the chocolate and booze dominating, long sweet finish.

Sampled at a tasting. Dark brown with some amber. Chocolate, raspberry, and cinnamon aroma. I’m not usually a raspberry fan but this is good. The beer doesn’t seem fresh, though. Honey flavor. Rich, sweet, and really nice.

kermis (13425) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2016
Bottle shared. Dark brown with no head. Aroma of massive chocolate, rich raspberry, vinous notes and honey/ floral notes. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with flat carbonation. This is amazing.

Bottle, thanks Tammy! Aroma has strong raspberry with red wine, honey, light alcohol, and light chocolate. Tastes mostly like raspberry and honey with a boozy red wine finish. Chocolate is very subtle. Medium to full body. Very good but a touch too boozy to make it up there with my favorites.
