Bottle from Umich03jm. Pours a cloudy, pale golden color, with a big aroma of cinnamon, and ripe fruit. Nice start to this. Flavor lives up to the aroma, with intense but pleasant cinnamon up front, followed by considerable alcohol, and then sweet mead. I like this through the middle, but it falls a bit short in the finish with a lack of complexity and a thin palate, although cinnamon hangs in there to the end. Overall, interesting and nice enough, I think this works, it’s just not on par with what this brewer is capable of so often. MeadMe (1652) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Pours reddish yellow. Aroma of red hot candy, a nice mix of cinnamon and sugar. Flavor is very candy like. Not hot just nice cinnamon candy sweetness. A nice drinking mead. Reynolds314 (3433) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 16, 2012
Red Hots. Aroma is red hots with light vanilla notes. Taste starts off as super over-spiced apply dessert and finishes as straight fireballs. Very interesting and glad I got to try it. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - FEB 15, 2012
Bottle, smells just cinnabuns. Very doughy flavor at first then it goes straight red hots. I’m very new to meads but this is really cool. Thanks baker!!!! hopscotch (11051) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 25, 2011
Bottle… This mead rocks!… Pours a muddy caramel color with an orange tint and long, skinny, excellent legs. The nose is straight-up “Red Hots” cinnamon candy bliss. Medium-bodied with a coarse mouthfeel. The flavor is of sweet candy “Red Hots” minus some of the heat. Finishes cinnamony, spicy-warm and bone-dry. Got candy? Thanks so much to dmschefke for shipping this world class concoction my way!

(Bottle from rayl101). Pours a hazy reddish golden color. Aroma is cinnamon, red hots and honey. Intoxicating! Taste is sweet with some cinnamon spiciness and a touch of bitterness. Absolutely amazing! 50belair (3617) - Florida, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle. Huge tip of the cap to Hopscotch for sharing this one. Looks like a bottle of Cholula. Smells just like a box of Red Hots. Smooth with warm cinnamon and pure local (not processed) honey. Simply outstanding.... darkguardian (733) - Florida, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Bottle courtesy of Hopscotch. Nose is straight up Red Hots, awesome. Spicy honey sweetness and cinnamon mix for a really tasty mead. Body is medium. Wierd murky reddish color. Very enjoyable mead.
