Bottle shared with some bouls at Capones. Pours a murky orange red color with no head or lacing. Aromas and taste of cinnamon apple pie, nothing else, just magical crustiness and rich saigon cinnamon. More flavors of washington apple pie crust, vanilla, sticky bun, brown sugar, and i like thome50s comparison to cinnamon toast crunch. No booze present as usual with Kuhnhenn meads. Luxurious and magical. I dont know why i drink beer when there is liquids like this on the market. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 21, 2011
Ok this one is simple. Cinnabon. Aroma and flavor. Thanks to Boltz for this. Damn fine Sunday morning mead here! JaBier (8445) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Glass at Kuhnhenn. Hazy orange/brown pour with no carbonation and some legs. Aroma of a cinnamon roll with a touch of honey and apple. Cinnamon, and honey flavor with some doughy character. It really is like a cinnamon roll in a glass. Phenomenal. MeadMe (1695) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - MAR 25, 2011
A: Pours a somewhat ruddy hue of red at the bottom the top of the glass is a pale yellow. Nice and thick it clings and runs down the glass.
S: Cinnamon and loads of it. Earthy, rich, and spicy.
T: All cinnamon here as well. Bold and earthy like fresh ground cinnamon. The spice overpowers the honey for the most part but there is a touch of sweetness hiding beneath.
M: Rather full in body, rich and spicy. BOLTZ7555 (3028) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 13, 2011
Tangerine/cotton candy colored pour with zero head and a lotta legs. Aroma of Red Hots, Hot Tamales, cinnamon sticks, vanilla, and honey. Flavor is a blast of Cinnamon Binaca (remember that stuff?), Big Red, cinnamon toast, and cinnamon Altoids. Interesting mouthfeel...syrupy but also can almost feel the gritty ground cinnamon on my teeth. This one blew me away!

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2011 Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a ruby tint and no head whatsoever. Aroma had a good amount of cinnamon that melded nicely with a light honey note and some sweet grain. Flavor was similar with a nice cinnamon note that combined with sweet grain and honey. Reminded me of cinnamon French toast. dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Pour is an amazing orange-pink color with no head and plenty of legs. Aroma is loaded with spicy cinnamon, honey, and vanilla frosting. Flavor shows pretty much exactly the same. Overall body is viscous and spicy-sweet. Every time I have a Kuhnhenn mead, I realize how amazing they are. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Old bottle, old label, thanks wavers! Straight cinnabons, like an iced cinnabon at the mall dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 7, 2011
(sampled at Dak’s Memorial Day tasting. Shared by Boltz7555 or Sparky. Sorry, can’t recall right now). Pours a cloudy, red grapefruit color. Aroma is massive cinnamon and honey. Taste is sweet with a bit of spicy cinnamon, which I don’t fin overpowering at all. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Smooth, spicy finish. This is one really nice mead! Im not sure what went into this one besides the cinnamon but wow this is tasty. Really nice vanilla type notes makes this taste like cinnamon cake. Really nice and potently cinnamon without overpowering everything else. Honey and vanilla are secondary flavors that really add to this great mead.
