3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by Alen on his birthday with a bunch of dudes. Pours gingerale, notes are cheap perfume, lavender, potpouri, bazooka bubblegum, and honey. Totally unique offering from Kuhnhenn. Change the style to Mead RB!
Poured a light yellow color from the bottle with aromas of light citrus, honey, some floral notes and a touch of lemon. Flavors are sweet honey and citrus, not the best mead, but better than most, solid, BeerandBlues2 (13821) - Escondido, California, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Bottle received via trade with FlandersNed. Pours brilliantly clear pale gold with no head. Aroma is honey, lightly alcoholic, vanilla, slightly earthy notes and citrus character. Flavor is honey, light citrus flesh, lightly alcoholic and a dry finish. Full body and still. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - SEP 9, 2013
375, capped. Thanks, M! What a cool treat. Pours a thin pale gold with a thin body, no head or lace or legs. Mild, dusty honey nose, not much happening. Flabby thin body, almost watery. Citrus doesn’t add much here, almost a stale quality on the mid palate. Moderate honey sweetness. No obvious flaws but no real inspiration here. j12601 (13114) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Bottle at Andy’s courtesy of J-Dadmond. Pours a clear gold. Smells like a sake, warm rice and a bit of sticky banana. Sweet and full of warm rice and honey. Soft and sweet, a bit of honey. Don’t really get much citrus. Tasty and easy drinking. jredmond (8645) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Bottle shared at Andy’s. Pours a body practically void of color, with just a hint of golden yellow, no head, no lacing - some very minimal bubbles. Aroma is dry honey, perfume, flowers, and light rubber. Mouthfeel is medium with light notes of alcohol, perfume, honey, light citrus, and a nice herbalness. I imagine this is a good starting point for many of Kuhnhenn’s more bizarrely treated meads.

375 ml bottle shared by deyholla. Thanks, dude! Pours a white wine hue, gentle glow of champagne and white grapes, straw and loose whitish head dies to nothing. Faint haze, the body glows well. Aromas are gentle raw honey, some citrus, lemon and gentle orange, straw, clover and florals. More honey and floral feel, raw hgoney and richer floral flavors offer some pleasant feel. Initial is loghter bodied, mellow sweetness with some thinned honey, clover and florals. Gentle pollen, honey, a bit dried out. Middle is some gentle grass, florals, and lemon. Some gentle sweetness, thinned firmly. Backend is a bit dry, mellow and light. Some crispness. No heat. Earthy, floral, dry. Nice. Smaller body, still element is a bit different. deyholla (12289) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a note of sweet honey and just a touch of sweet citrus. Flavor has a nice sweet nectar honey sweetness with just a touch of booze and a hint of light but sweet citrus. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 23, 2013

Pours pale yellow. Aromas are flowers and honey. Flavor is honey up front without being too sweet. Nice citrus cuts through to provide good balance. Overall a nice mead.
