MBG Winter Fest 2008. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where not met for this brewer. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 25, 2011
Sample at the brewpub (as "Classic American Pilsner"). The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that fizzes away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mildly spiced hops and malt. Light body with a light hops character that has grassy and fruity notes, plus some sweet malt in the background. The finish is short and mildly hoppy. Average overall. j12601 (12973) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 5, 2009
On tap at the Blind Tiger at their Kuhnhenn event. Pours a clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Light grain and barely a touch of hops. Not much going on aroma or flavor wise, but very inoffensive with no huge grain notes and just a touch of sweetness. Really refreshing though, and probably a fine lawnmower or poolside beer. For as bad a score as I’m giving this, I’d certainly drink this again given the right circumstances.

Yellow body with a small creamy white head. (3+) Sweety malty aroma, smooth sweet grainy flavour. Average palate. Pretty ho-hum, but not unpleasant. alexsdad06 (10580) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 28, 2008
Draught @ brew pub. Pours a clear light golden in color with a small white head. The aroma is mildly sweet doughy malt, but nothing substantial. The flavor is again subdued dough/bread type malts, mild sweetness, and a hint of flowery hops. For what it is, I guess it’s not too bad. Very pale straw colour. Thin head. The nose is light with a little bit of graininess. Light grassy aroma as well. Very light bodied with a bit of lean crackery malt character. Meh… it’s okay if light lagers are your thing, but they aren’t really mine. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 13, 2011
