UPDATED: MAY 26, 2007 Rerate had this 3 years ago so I thought I would revisit this beer. The aroma is close to the 1st rating but get a nice sweetness to it same goes for the flavor this and smooth this could be my hot summer day beer very refreshing. June 1st rating 1.8 2004poured lemonade. aroma light lemon, yeasty, corn. flavor yeasty and citrus. not a fan of this. sliffy (2040) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 26, 2007
On tap @ the brewpub: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly just light bready malts with a hint of sweetness. Flavor, light floral notes, some bready malts, and a light sweetness. Not bad for a pale lager. GodOfThunder (1249) - Orlando, Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2009
Likely the best swill lager I’ve ever had. Draft at the brewpub. Clear, light and refreshing. Everything bud light should be. msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - NOV 11, 2009
On tap at brewpub. Pours dark golden with white head. Aroma is grainy with bready malts. Flavor is grainy with bready malts and very light hops. Finishes crisp and is refreshing. Sometime imperial pilsners and wits can be a cloying sweet mess but this is not the case. This had a very full flavor and was enjoyable to drink.

i’m surprised by the low ratings here. this was a startlingly clean lager, it’s a perfectly textbook american pilsner. i could drink this by the gallon in the summer. JStax (6919) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JAN 4, 2015
Draft pour at the source. Pours a pale yellow with a white head of foam. Aroma is faint but has hints at corn and grain. Taste is fairly uneventful. Light in body and has medium carbonation. Crosling (1864) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 17, 2005
Sampled on draught @ Kuhnhenn Brewing Company in Warren, Michigan. Light yellow color. Doughy aroma, exploding with cereal, corn and pale malts. No off flavors, crisp and clean with a moderate light fruit flavor. Pretty tasty overall. Blows the macros away. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Slightly cloudy pale yellow color with nearly no head. Nice aroma. Sweet pale malt, cereal, bread, light hops. Taste is nice sweet pale malt, slight bitterness, smooth finish. Exactly what you want from an American Pils. A perfect example for the style. JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - NOV 18, 2012
At the brewery, solid pilsner. Tasty, light and refreshing. It’s a good beer even though not my fave style.
