Bottle. Pours a dark amber with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is wood, vanilla, booze. Thin mouth, vanilla, candy sugar, caramel, boozy finish, very good. onceblind (10011) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 11, 2016
Deep chestnut brown with a thin fast fading tan head. Amazing deep aroma with chocolate and light roast and malt syrup and Christmas warmth. Amazing smooth and roasty sweet chocolaty flavor, a wee kiss of coffee, more sweet earthy malt syrup, Christmas English ale flavors, and finishing with a bit more cocoa. Really amazing. Poured a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma was of toffee, caramel, dark fruits and booze. Flavor similar, some brown sugar in there too, fairly complex, booze is hidden well. I would love to see this put in a barrel. chucklemation (1734) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Pours q dark brown, no head. Aroma is dark fruits, plum, vanilla, caramel, and toffee. Flavor is dark fruits, plum, caramel, and toffee. Has a thick, flat body. This is not at all what I expected from this beer, but I like it. Viper666 (3289) - Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 22, 2015

Bottle, 2011 version. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Malty nose with lots of toffee. Flavour has toffee, cocoa, dark dried fruit, light vanilla, Full body, soft carbonation. Not as sweet as I expected, it has some acidity that helps lift the sugar along with the alcohol, which is warming and not rough. Fine malty beverage but not enough to justify the price tag. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - JAN 21, 2015
Tap @ Kuhnhenn: Extremely deep brown body with light shining through the very edges, giving off ruby highlights. Soapy & foamy, large bubbled beige-gray head. Aroma is full of huge, thick, robust toffee & caramel candy. Sugary, sticky, sweet. Black licorice, toasted bread, burnt brown sugar, plum, molasses coated raisins, & a good amount of boozy warmth. Huge flavor. Even as you’d expect for a 12.5% ABV bock, the flavor is even louder. Booze laced between mountains of caramel, toffee, & roasted nuts, covered in sticky sweet residual malt sugars. Plums & sweet dates, coated in molasses & rolled in brown sugar, leading to a finish of harshly toasted & nearly burnt bread, nuts, & dominant yeast esters. Roasted nuts, caramel, & scorched brown sugar linger on the palate afterwards. Sticky, heavy, creamy mouth feel. This is everything you’d expect a "triple" bock to be. Sam Adams LISTEN UP. This is a really good beer.
