This draft brew from the brewery poured a small head of mostly diminishing finely sized bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body was a transparent uncarbonated copper color. It had a mild malty aroma and the mouth feel was smooth and mildly tingly. The flavor was also malty with a mild brown beer finish. A nice all around ale. 11026 (1772) - Alabama, USA - MAY 14, 2004
On tap. A dark brown color with a decent head. Malty aroma. Some chocolate hints. Malt flavor predominates in the taste department with a moderate hop finish. Not bad but would select the Fourth Dementia over this if pushed. hotstuff (5158) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 9, 2004

2004 draught. Pours a mildly hazy medium earthy brown. Small off-white head. Aroma has a bit of malt in it and some very dry smelling hops. Flavor is very wet, lots of brown malts, moderately sugary with some out of place bitterness. The alpha hops do not go too well with this brown style ale, and the wateriness does not help the situation. Not sure what they were aiming for with this one. Low carbonation, medium to medium light body, very watery texture.
